Description:

RemoteStar is looking to hire a Quality Coordinator on behalf of our client in the United Kingdom.
About Role - Quality Coordinator- To ensure that the internal QMS processes and procedures comply with the requirements of business standard ISO9001 and our key customer requirements. Ensuring manufactured systems, sub-assemblies and repairs have been correctly processed through internal business functions to meet the high standards of quality.
Location - Wellington, Somerset
About Client - A UK-based manufacturing company that works in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the Aerospace, Rail, and Oil & Gas industries.
As the Quality Coordinator you will be responsible for the:
Verify internal processes to ensure they meet the requirements of ISO9001 and business goals.
Monitoring and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures.
Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans as required.
Develop the current QMS including document control to ensure business processes are accurate, followed, and correctly revision controlled.
Performing regular production inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality requirements.
Support warehouse functions with the inspection of critical and prototype components.
Carry out supplier audits to verify conformity with requirements.
Manage internal audit schedule and audit team in carrying out internal process audits, making recommendations for improvement as required.
Represent the Company’s quality management during customer audits and customer-facing project meetings.
Verify internal information used for manufacture whilst ensuring customer requirements are met before issuing Certificates of Conformity.
Lead the correct application of concessions
Lead control of NCRs and customer complaints ensuring that responses are timely and robust.
Lead root-cause analysis investigations for quality incidents as directed.
Develop and report monthly KPIs based on quality escapes.
Work with the Business Improvement Manager on the rollout and progress of ongoing continual improvement projects.
What do we value:
Knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems including ISO9001 and ATEX requirements.
Good understanding of MS Office Suite: MS Word, MS Excel.
Experience in manufacturing and assembly processes.
Previous experience in quality control/inspection.
Root cause analysis procedures.
Previous experience in auditing.
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
Formal Certificate in IPC-610/620 or experience is desirable.
