Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team in Tilbury, ON. In this role, you will provide engineering and customer support to ensure the successful development and manufacturing of automotive components. You will play a critical role in maintaining quality standards and driving continuous improvement within the production process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards for processing materials into finished products.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality protocols are in place.
  • Devise and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for production equipment and finished products.
  • Design or specify inspection/testing mechanisms and perform statistical analysis to assess non-conforming products or materials.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve internal and external quality issues.
  • Ensure corrective actions meet reliability standards and that all documentation complies with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements that enhance quality, reduce waste, and improve production efficiency.
