About the project & opportunity:
Acciona Construction has been engaged by Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) to deliver the Link Rd project which is a the first phase of development to allow key access to the site and streamline logistics. This role will be on site during construction activity.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Implementing the Quality Management Plan on site
  • Assist in preparation and close out of work packs
  • Review subcontractors’ QA/QC deliverables
  • Ensure surveillance, hold and witness inspections are conducted and signed off as per subcontractors’ ITP’s
  • Review subcontractors’ inspection and test records
  • Review subcontractors’ As-Built documentation including redline markups and MDR’s
  • Prepare weekly QC reports

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Experience in the construction industry and project work
  • Knowledge and solid understanding of ISO 9001:2008 requirements
  • Relevant recognised qualification
