We are actively seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a strong Quality background with proven experience. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, implements, maintains, and improves quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
  • Designs and improves methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products
  • Performs analysis and preparation of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or improvements to quality standards and procedures when necessary
  • Provides technical review of documents, drawings, assembly instructions, and project plans
  • Compares defects against standards and recommends dispositions, verifies implementation of rework
  • Collects, organizes and analyzes project data, generates and/or reviews metrics
  • Performs audits, assigns corrective actions, and verifies implementations internally and with external supplies
  • Participates in project reviews and meetings including technical design reviews, technical peer reviews, material review boards, change control boards, failure review boards
  • Participates in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities within projects
  • Reviews documents/Drawings/Instructions for conformance to requirements
  • May provide leadership and/or direction to lower-level employees
  • Contact with project leaders and other professionals within Engineering and Operations departments, and with project teams across the company
  • Frequent contact with external customers
  • Provides resolution to a diverse range of complex problems
  • Works as an individual technical contributor on one or more projects
  • Participates as an active member of the project team
  • Independently determines approach to solutions
