JOB DESCRIPTION

Danfoss is looking for a Quality Engineer for our plant in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. You will be responsible for Supervise RMA team to manage RMA process to effectively provide service to customers issuing quality claims. RMA Quality Engineer will lead the team to successfully achieve goals of this area: RMA inventory, Customer Responsiveness time, RMA Open/Closure ratio.

  • Education: Bachelor degree (Engineering)
  • Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality or manufacturing processes
  • English (Spoken, Read, Write)
  • Root Cause Analysis (preferable Red X or Green Belt)
  • ISO / IATF requirements
  • OneERP / SAP Knowledge
  • Warranty Failure Analysis
  • Continuous improvement
  • Drive for results
  • ISO 9001 or similar certifications (AS-9100, IATF 16949)
  • Problem Solving methodologies (Six Sigma or Shaining)
  • Core tools
  • Lean manufacturing

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Coordinate the importation of Customer returns (Plant Line Rejects and Field rejects) from our Cross Dock warehouse in Texas to Reynosa facilities.
  • Description: Coordinate the analysis of returns within 7 calendar days of arrival maximum.
  • Drive BU and SQ team for customer responses before 21 days after arrival.
  • Coordinate RMA credit processing with local and Global Finance Group; Identify top contributors and drive for improvement.
  • Follow necessary steps to import / Export rejected finished goods from customer, Plant Line Rejects or Field Rejects.
  • Root Cause Analysis; Follow internal procedure to analyze customer rejects; apply RCPS tools for complicated problems.
  • Credit to Customer; Process Credits to customers Through the right channels of the organization.
  • Reporting; Summarize Warranty Costs, drive BUs for QIP (Quality Improvement Plans) to drive down PLF / FR DPPMs.
