Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Essity is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to support our team in Bordentown, NJ. In this role you will ensure good handling of customer complaints. You will secure the validity of material and product specifications. Having experience documenting processes within a quality management system and participating in processes improvement activities will ensure success in this role.
The ideal candidate must be able to come into our office in Bordentown, NJ.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Operate as a role model for safety and supports the safety improvements.
  • Assures legal compliance in quality matters.
  • Develops standards for Quality measurements in Laboratory and on the Lines.
  • Secures the availability and the right implementation of standard documentation.
  • Keeps the specifications for material and product / article specifications updated.
  • Develops the capabilities tools to assure the right follow up of processes and products and trains RST, quality department and operation crews regarding quality subjects e.g. product specification, quality checks, SPC, validation routines etc.
  • Reports consumer complaints and Quality KPI’s to Site, Unit and more specific to Production Lines.
  • Identifies and make available quality improvements and performs quality benchmarks between Lines, Teams and other factories.
  • Supports the RST Members and Technical Team in the impact on improvements in Quality issues.
  • Perform in-process and laboratory testing.
  • Ensure facility compliance to ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers as needed on quality issues.
