The Opportunity:
This position requires working within 2-week sprint cycles to perform quality actions throughout all phases of the SDLC to ensure top quality releases and updates to our platform. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for delivering quality software and promoting positive user experience. Working on an Agile team this passion will be applied to all activities ensuring the highest quality, including but not limited to, sprint testing, regression testing, exploratory testing and other manual testing for our web and mobile applications. We are looking for someone who does not just find defects but is actively engaged in helping the development team prevent undesired behavior through knowledge transfer and other efforts. You will be ensuring the best performance of a tool helping patients collaborate better with practitioners to bring health care into the modern world.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of our testing strategy.
  • Review software requirements & designs to identify customer flow gaps and opportunities for software quality improvement.
  • Create and update test scenarios/cases.
  • Perform manual testing for our web and mobile applications.
  • Identify and clearly report on defects and unintentional software behavior.
  • Perform isolation testing and conduct root cause analysis for our web and mobile applications as needed.
  • Effectively and efficiently keep up with the testing workload to have testing activities complete in time for release.
  • Follow up Test Automation Executions and occasionally build and maintain automation test scripts for our web and mobile applications.
  • Communicate intended behavior to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Active participation across all Scrum ceremonies.

Qualifications:

  • Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related degree.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, within an Agile environment.
  • Experience with Agile Testing Tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins and TestRail or any related.
  • Experience in regression testing, exploratory testing.
  • Firm understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Documentation writing skills with experience in writing test cases and test plans.
