Summary
We are looking for a “Quality Engineer for Avionic Projects (f/m/d)” for the “Engineering, Product and Project Quality” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
Our “Engineering, Product and Project Quality” department is responsible for the Electronic Warefare, Avionics and Radar programs, as well as the associated development, sales and logistics departments. We ensure that the processes are applied effectively and with low risk to the project and product, taking into account the contractual requirements, and that the relevant quality tasks are completed efficiently. The quality engineers work closely with the neighboring departments, project managers and product managers and are appointed at the start of the planning phase.
Your Tasks
- Independent work as a quality engineer in project teams including reporting
- Ensuring compliance with processes, taking into account contractual requirements and project-relevant tasks
- Planning and carrying out all quality tasks across the entire product life cycle
- Contact person on the customer and supplier side for project-related quality issues
- Confirming product conformity with regard to legal regulations and contractual requirements
- Ensuring the risk-minimized achievement of project goals within the performance, time and cost framework
- Collaboration in test planning, product verification and validation as well as in the certification of systems, sub-systems and equipment
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally is required.
Your Profile
- Completed studies in the field of electrical / communications engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or similar
- Several years of experience in civil and / or military quality management and / or development
- Knowledge of risk and requirements management
- Experience and in-depth knowledge of electronics, hardware and system development, knowledge of software development is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and ability to reach consensus as well as a high degree of initiative, independence, leadership and teamwork skills
- Very good knowledge of German and English
