POSITION SUMMARY
Infasco Nut is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Team! Under the responsibility of the Assistant Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer (specialized in PPAP) will support our automotive manufacturing
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a specialization in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to support our automotive manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the PPAP process, working within a dynamic and supportive team environment to ensure that our parts meet both quality standards and customer specifications.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Manage PPAP Documentation: Prepare, review, and submit PPAP documentation to customers, ensuring strict compliance with automotive industry standards.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to obtain all necessary documentation and data for PPAP submissions, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze test results and production data to confirm that all specifications and customer requirements are met before submission.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and streamline the approval process for new parts.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the PPAP process, implementing best practices to improve quality and efficiency.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the point of contact for customers regarding PPAP submissions, addressing questions and concerns in a timely manner.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949) and internal quality management systems throughout the PPAP process.
- Data Collection and Audits: Conduct data collection, analysis, and internal audits as needed to support quality assurance efforts.
