The Opportunity:
The DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in the company’s Software Development Lifecycle. Has direct interaction with team members from many departments including Architecture, Research and Development, and IT Operations. Together, you will research, design, and implement new technologies that support our platform and development tools with the goal of enabling teams to deliver high quality changes to users quickly, safely, and reliably.
Our DevOps team will encourage and promote industry best practices for software development and delivery, establish and promote a continuous improvement mindset, and facilitate the shifting left of code integration, security scanning, application testing, and operations team involvement in software delivery.
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of our testing strategy
- Review software requirements & designs to identify customer flow gaps and opportunities for software quality improvement.
- Create and update test scenarios/cases.
- Perform manual testing for our web and mobile applications.
- Identify and clearly report on defects and unintentional software behavior.
- Perform isolation testing and conduct root cause analysis for our web and mobile applications as needed.
- Effectively and efficiently keep up with the testing workload to have testing activities complete in time for release.
- Follow up Test Automation Executions and occasionally build and maintain automation test scripts for our web and mobile applications.
- Communicate intended behavior to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Active participation across all Scrum ceremonies.
Qualifications:
- Technical/bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related careers.
- Advanced English.
- Experience in Quality Assurance, within an Agile environment.
- Experience with Agile Testing Tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins and TestRail or any related.
- Experience in regression testing, exploratory testing.
- Firm understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Documentation writing skills with experience in writing test cases and test plans.
