Quality Engineer

Job Description:

• Understanding customer needs & requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
• Devise and review specifications for products or processes.
• Set requirements for raw materials or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.

Execute QC measures for all supplied raw materials. (Inspection)

Monitoring & Execute QC measures on all calibration requirements.

• Manage all External (Accreditations), Internal and Customer Audits

Ensuring adherence to procedures as well as legal obligations.

• Perform risk assessments, review & revise Organization Procedures.
• Manage, Supervise/Perform Metallurgical laboratory.

Managing a team of Quality Inspectors and Met Lab Technicians.

• Oversee all product development, and output to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.

Drive & Report plant’s KPIs,
Perform Quality Data Entry requirements,

Maintaining Nonconformance Records & QMS Documentations & Records.

• Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
• Address all customer feedback, complaints and administer Root Cause Analysis, Deep Dives & Clinics. (Quality Tools)
• Participate in organization productivity, lean projects/activity.
• Advocate Organization Export Control policies/requirements
