SKILLS & STRENGTHS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.
• Fully bilingual English-Spanish.
• 5+ years experience min. in Quality area at manufacturing processes (preferable in automotive business).
• Knowledge of quality systems tools, such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.
• Problem Solving Skills.
• Ability to lead a multifunctional team towards compliance with quality system.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 / ISO 9001 requirements.

• Ensures that a quality system is maintained according to the IATF16949 standard.
• Be a role model in compliance with quality standards.
• Reports on the performance of the quality system to general management for review and as a basis for improvement.
• Be a go to person when quality issues rise at shopfloor.
• Maintains quality assurance objectives.
• Plans, organizes and delivers training related to product quality.
• Investigates and addresses customer quality complaints.
• Builds and enhances cross-functional relationships, services and information flow within the organization.
• Identifies and leads product and process quality improvement.
• Lead problem solving efforts (8Ds, A3, 5 Why’s, PDCA, etc.)
