Job Description:
At Saab, Inc. in Orlando, you have the opportunity to join a growing Quality Assurance team supporting our Training and Simulation business the USMC’s MCTIS Program. The ideal candidate is looking for an opportunity to grow their Quality Engineering expertise and skills.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Execute Quality Management System principles and processes.
- Monitor and support the deployment process to identify potential non-conformances as early as possible.
- ECR/N generation, review, and CCB participation
- Approval of CDRLs.
- Disposition and track nonconforming material.
- Participate as a member of the Material Review Board team and lead proposed corrective actions.
- Perform internal audits to ensure process maturity and capability while ensuring compliance for our customer, production, and supply chain functions.
- Work directly with our Swedish counterparts to ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure compliance.
- Identify, communicate, and execute value-added process improvements/initiatives.
- Deliver a people first culture in alignment to Saab leadership vision.
Secondary responsibilities:
- Growth and development of the Quality Management System.
- Support incoming inspection and inspection planning.
- Support Calibration/maintenance of equipment.
- Saab Internal Quality Metrics.
Compensation Range: $69,100- $84,600
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate’s work experience, key skills, and education/training.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Quality, or similar field required.
- 3+ years of experience with expertise of the aerospace industry a plus.
- MBA, M.Sc. or an equivalent documented education or certifications a plus.
- Ability to be self-driven and deliver a high quality of work.
- Ability to drive and lead change. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) programs, procedures, and processes.
- Working knowledge of Quality System Management per ISO 9001:2015.
Citizenship Requirements:
