Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer (QE) to join one of our groups within Tele2’s network operations center. The group is responsible for the surveillance of the Tele2’s fixed network. As a QE on NOC Fixed, you will be one of two daytime contacts for the group’s NOC technical questions and support. The work includes being a part of the operational work that the group is responsible for around the clock and all year round, but with a focus on quality assurance, development, strategy and sustainability. Your knowledge and work will contribute to the leadership of the group in these matters. This is not a leadership role, but an in-depth role in the network surveillance work, prioritizing challenging existing working methods to improve and identify best practice. The purpose of the role is to ensure a stable production environment and well-functioning services, by ensuring the flow and managing deviations. Create operational conditions that enable team members to be as self-sufficient as possible, for quick error correction and a good customer experience.
We have a high focus on customer satisfaction, both Tele2’s customers and our internal stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Support the team in terms of knowledge and with established processes/routines
- Be responsible for quality follow-up of the NOC’s work
- Ensure the right level of employee training
- Work closely with the group’s leader and the NOC’s leadership team on technical strategic issues.
- Develop new ways of working and continuously contribute to improving processes, systems and routines, together with NOC and support groups at Tele2.
- Owning incidents, monitoring and managing events (i.e. registration, categorization, prioritization, diagnosis, remediation, verification and closure)
- Escalate Major Incidents, manage Emergency Change, register Problems
- Publish operational information to relevant stakeholders
- Together with the group ensure OLA/SLA daily work adherence
- Participate as a NOC representative in handovers from the line to the surveillance
- Participate in Lessons Learned, and process and business improvement forums with NOC’s perspectives.
This is a permanent position during office hours, located at our headquarters in Kista. Tele2 has a hybrid workplace where you will be able to work at least three days from one of Tele2’s offices, but as this role mainly involves supporting office staff with day-to-day operations, you will need to be physically present, with exceptions.
