JOB DESCRIPTION

As a consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose and refine the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Working in a team to strategize system testing, integration testing, end to end testing, as per the project scope, using Agile methods.
• Creating test strategy, test plans, test cases, automation scripts as needed.
• Determining project requirements (product backlog, sprint backlog – functional and non-functional requirements) and developing work schedules for the QA team.
• Should be able to work with the team and inspire them to reach their goals.
• Collaborate with your team (developers, designers, product owners, BAs) to define, design, and ship new features.
• Provide the tools, guidance, and oversight to the engineering team to ensure that their testing is performed adequately and efficiently
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs and improve application performance.
• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
• Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.

Skills:

• Total experience 5+ years
• Experience with Functional testing – process and deliverables
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good experience with Java, Selenium automation skills
• Aware of Mobile testing, mobile automation testing
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and how to test those
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins and Agile/DevOps methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
