This role is a permanent position to be based in Milton Keynes.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

1st Stage – A 90 minute session consisting of introduction to the role and technical questions.
2nd Stage – A 60 minute session consisting of competency based questions.

Responsibilities:
- A proven track record of operating within a quality engineering and infrastructure domain with the ability to simplify, standardise and automate quality engineering practises
- SME knowledge and hands on ability across all aspects of Infrastructure Quality and Testing in both functional and non-functional (including Performance, Capacity, Operational Acceptance, High Availability Disaster Recovery - HADR) and with a clear understanding of necessary industry leading testing tools and processes
- Skilled and knowledgeable across quality engineering practises comprising infrastructure and application, Datacentre and Public Cloud, Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, AWS EC2), Clustering techniques (e.g., High Availability, Failover), load balancing methods (e.g., hardware, software), firewall technologies (e.g., stateful firewalls, next-generation firewalls) and Disaster Recovery Planning
- Comfortable collaborating across the infrastructure peer group, including implementing and integration of testing best practise and standards
- Experience managing the day-to-day implementation of Infrastructure Quality
- Able to troubleshoot complex testing scenarios prior to production rollou
