POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a passionate Quality Engineering Manager with strong communication skills, knowledge, and experience in banking and financial services to perform quality engineering activities and focus on the delivery of valuable outcomes and ensures alignment to client and customer needs.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Experience in defining testing processes and frameworks from ideation and engagement through realization of business value
  • Experience working with Banking channels and products
  • Experience with agile project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence or HP ALM
  • Experience working with AWS cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans/strategy.
  • Design and strategize automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency.
  • Design and architect test data and environments to support various testing activities (unit, integration, system, performance, etc.).
  • Manage and maintain test data and environment infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Management of testing resources and budget across a program, including managing changes of scope, budget, effort and timeframes.
  • Collaboration with other delivery stakeholders to monitor and measure upstream quality and delivery, to meet scope, time and quality objectives.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).
  • Ensuring all components provide quality and maintaining compliance with client processes and governing standards.
  • Excellent experience in banking domain like web banking, mobile banking, core banking, payments products including understanding of the entire client application landscape for various engagements.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners involved in payment processing, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability.
  • Ensure test environments are secure, compliant with organizational standards, and protected from unauthorized access.
  • Working in AGILE methodology projects, participating in scrum ceremonies on daily basis, explaining the underlying defects & issues in scrum call in detail.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the SDLC.
  • Experienced in defining and documenting the quality engineering approach and overarching plan and strategy across multiple applications through SDLC phases.
