StandardAero is seeking a motivated, eager, and innovative student looking to join our Quality Team in Winnipeg MB CA for the 2025 summer term.
As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILL/EXPERIENCE):
- Good understanding of basic engineering principles: asking questions, problem-solving and be willing to learn and work in a collaborative setting
- Basic knowledge of computer and MS Office
- Must have completed 1st year of Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace studies
Responsibilities:
StandardAero is seeking Engineering students for summer term positions (4 or 8 months) to support StandardAero’s production and growth projects. This work may include activities as listed below:
- Perform reprocess cost evaluation and make recommendations for reduction
- Develop tools to measure and analyze process effectiveness
- Assist quality team in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality goals/KPIs
- Build, maintain and optimize new/existing quality metrics
- Investigate product complaints and reported quality issues in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
- Identify and document defects through to resolution.
- Assist in the maintenance of existing internal processes and quality system management documentation.
- Documentation review and maintenance
- Inspect systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvements to workflow and enhanced efficiency.
- Monitor risk-management procedures, to identify and report recurring issues.
