Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Nursing and Integrated Governance Unit for an innovative and skilled Quality Governance Lead.
You will require commitment, passion and motivation in order to fulfil the requirements of this role, in enabling corporate and divisional compliance
with the national requirements and standards set by commissioners, Care quality commission, NHS England and other regulators. The post holder
will provide Quality Governance support across the organisation, with a quality improvement, safety, compliance and assurance focus.

The post holder will be one of the team of senior staff and leaders in the Nursing and Integrated Governance Team who will collectively have the
responsibility for enabling corporate and divisional compliance with the national requirements and standards set by the Commissioners, Care
Quality Commission, NHS England/Improvement and other regulators. The post holder will provide Quality Governance support across the

organisation. The role has a quality improvement, safety, compliance and assurance focus. The post holder will:

  • Provide leadership and professional advice to managers and staff within the Trust on governance and assurance processes.
  • Support the delivery of the Trust and Divisional assurance, quality, safety, and governance strategies and agendas which underpin the delivery of the corporate objectives and Trust response to the NHS Long Term Plan.
  • Be responsible for leading the development, and maintenance of the Divisional Quality Assurance Framework with the senior management team and ensure alignment and compliance with the Trust’s overarching policies relating to Integrated Governance Quality Assurance Framework.
  • With Divisional Directors and Directorate Managers, Senior Nurses and Clinical Leads and the Associate Director of Governance and Assurance ensure that systems are in place to provide assurances, insight foresight and oversight in respect of quality and safety for staff, patients and service users across spheres of responsibility.
