Description:

  • Monitor and assess hotel operations to ensure they meet established quality standards in services, products, and guest experiences.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of guest rooms, public areas, F&B outlets, and other hotel facilities to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with department heads to implement quality improvement programs and address any shortcomings.
  • Oversee guest feedback systems, analyze feedback trends, and ensure corrective actions are taken to improve guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure the hotel complies with all local and international safety regulations, including fire safety, emergency protocols, and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures for all hotel staff and departments.
  • Conduct safety training programs for all employees to ensure they are aware of and understand safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Perform regular safety drills, such as fire and evacuation drills, to keep the staff prepared for emergencies.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss occurrences, preparing detailed reports and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure that hygiene protocols are strictly followed across all hotel areas, particularly in kitchens, restaurants, and housekeeping.
  • Conduct routine hygiene inspections in food preparation areas, guest rooms, and laundry to meet or exceed health and sanitation regulations.
  • Work closely with the food and beverage team to ensure all hygiene and sanitation practices comply with local food safety laws.
  • Maintain documentation and logs of hygiene practices, inspections, and staff training sessions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors or inspectors to ensure the hotel passes any required health and safety audits.
  • Identify potential risks related to quality, safety, and hygiene and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Implement and maintain a risk assessment program for all departments to continuously monitor and manage operational risks.
  • Keep up to date with changes in safety and hygiene legislation and ensure the hotel remains compliant.
  • Design and conduct training sessions on quality, safety, and hygiene practices for new and existing employees.
  • Ensure all employees are fully aware of their responsibilities regarding maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and awareness of safety and quality among all hotel staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, audits, and hygiene evaluations.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to the hotel management team on safety, quality, and hygiene performance.
  • Ensure that any issues identified in inspections or audits are documented and that action plans are in place to address them promptly.
  • Work towards obtaining and maintaining industry certifications such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and ISO standards related to quality and safety.
  • Ensure all safety equipment and materials are regularly checked, maintained, and certified for use.
  • Collaborate closely with all department heads, including housekeeping, food and beverage, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure alignment on safety, hygiene, and quality objectives.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on improving safety, quality, and hygiene practices in daily operations.
  • Coordinate with local emergency services (fire, medical, etc.) to ensure a swift response to emergencies.
  • Act as the point of contact during emergencies and coordinate the hotel’s crisis management procedures.
  • Ensure clear and visible communication of guest safety protocols in public areas and rooms.
  • Oversee the proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials, ensuring all safety data sheets are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and evaluations to understand the root cause of accidents and incidents and implement lessons learned.

  • HEALTH AND SAFETY: 2 years (Required)

Language:
