*Position Summary: *
The Quality Inspector II works with little supervision/mentoring and is proficient at all manual inspections with the manual Coordinate-Measuring Machining (CMM) and operating prior programed Digital Computer Controlled (DCC) CMM. Inspects components, assemblies, and related paperwork to ensure compliance with specifications. Ensures that no non-conforming or rejected product gets shipped to the end user or customer. Focused on providing the highest quality products to customers.
DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATION:
- Associates degree or completion of an apprenticeship program in a related field is desired.
- Experience in an ISO9000/AS9100 organization.
SKILLS:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as geometric tolerances and drawing interpretation.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
