Now, let’s talk about the role itself. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the BW Team as Quality Inspector/Technician who will be responsible for the success of revenue generation and growth for BW and can thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a positive can-do attitude, impeccable integrity, and excellent communication skills.
This position will report to the Quality Supervisor. The ideal candidate has a high level of energy, self-direction, accountability and has proven systems to foster a collaborative environment that enhances a pioneering spirit for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services produced by BW and our suppliers and oversee the manufacturing of products at each from development and manufacturing to packaging.
  • Collaborate with other engineering groups to develop products and manufacturing processes.
  • Play a key role in the BW Quality Audit Program.
  • Reviews and analyzes inspection data to ensure our quality standards are protected.
  • Perform mechanical testing and analysis of results on in-process product, finished product and incoming supplier product.
  • Use of physical dimensional measurement testing using test equipment such as: optical comparators, gage blocks, pin gages, dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), etc.
  • Assists calibration program, calibrates test equipment within capabilities and manages off-site calibration activities.
  • Manages equipment / gage calibration program. Conducts inspection and testing of products, materials, and processes to ensure conformance and compliance with established standards.
