THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Manager to join our dynamic team in High Wycombe. In this pivotal role, you will support our satellite branches and ensure that we deliver the high-quality products and services our customers depend on.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in food science, technology, or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in the Food & Beverage Industry, focusing on Quality Management or Quality Assurance.
· Proven track record in managing QMS, audits, and driving process improvements.
· Exceptional influencing skills and confident communicator.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
· Strong understanding of quality tools and industry standards (ISO 9001, BRC, FSCC2200).
WORKING REQUIREMENTS:
· Full-time role with travel across the UK for site visits.
· Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM.
· Primarily office-based, with time spent on production floors or in laboratory environments.

Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE:
As the Quality Manager, you will oversee all quality assurance activities to ensure that our products and services meet company standards while complying with regulatory and customer requirements. Your role will focus on continuous improvement of quality management systems and processes, fostering a quality ethos throughout the organization, and ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Quality Assurance Systems Management:
· Manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to maintain certifications (ISO 9001, Water Dispenser & Hydration Association) and monitor day-to-day performance for compliance.
· Inspections and Audits:
· Plan, conduct, and oversee internal and external audits, manage non-conformances, and lead audits with external stakeholders.
· Process and Product Quality Improvement:
· Monitor water quality, production processes, and collaborate with Production Teams to optimise processes.
· Compliance and Documentation:
· Ensure accurate documentation for quality controls and stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
· Customer and Supplier Relations:
· Investigate and resolve customer complaints and collaborate with suppliers to ensure materials meet specifications.
· Team Leadership and Training:
· Lead, manage, and mentor quality assurance teams, and provide training to promote a quality-driven culture.
· Data Analysis and Reporting:
· Analyse quality performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
· Food Safety Management:
· Manage HACCP systems, ensuring staff awareness and compliance with procedures.
