Description:

QUALITY MANAGER

Are you a strong visionary who can lead us into the next level of quality and food safety management? Would you like to ensure high food quality through digitalization, work processes and process optimization? We are currently looking for a new colleague with a passion for quality and food safety, who with a systematic and structured approach ensures compliance with all applicable standards and legal requirements.
Success starts with a team.
Danish Crown Beef is Denmark’s largest beef company and a leading supplier of beef products to retail businesses, foodservice, and food companies.
We have production sites in Holsted, Sdr. Felding, and Aalborg, as well as in Husum and Teterow in Germany. You will be part of our Quality and Food Safety department, which ensures high food safety and quality at our factories. Your primary workplace will be our headquarters in Holsted. As your presence is necessary at the factories for audits and support to local quality supervisors, there is a fair amount of work-related transport between sites in the position. We take pride in collaborating across departments, skills, and areas of responsibility, as well as supporting each other to always deliver the best results.

Responsibilities:

  • Verification and development of the quality management system. This includes the operational responsibility for a team of nine internal auditors and being super user of our traceability system.
  • Validation and development of quality management processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with BRC and IFS certification, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements.
  • Direct support to our four slaughterhouses and one processing plant in implementing new requirements, new legislation, procedures, support on root cause analysis, as well as participating in local audits, certifications, and inspections.
  • Responsible for all steps of complaint handling.
  • Management of raw material suppliers.
  • People manager for a skilled QA Specialist.
There are several paths into the position, and your educational background is not important to us. You have in-depth knowledge of the BRC and IFS standards, and you have either insight into working with quality management processes and process optimization through education or many years of work experience.
