Responsibilities:

  • Regularly meet with our Chief Operating Officer and Executive Team to discuss Our Business Priorities for the coming year and use the goals to set new quality requirements for the year.
  • Together with our Chief Operating Officer, review reports from our Warranty Service Advisor to recommend quality improvements in our customer service, processes and products.
  • Together with our Chief Operating Officer, review Customer Complaint Logs from our VP of Sales and Marketing to recommend quality improvements in our customer service, processes and products.
  • Communicate and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to develop profitable and sustainable business relationships.
  • Confer with our Executive Team to set measurable quality requirements and levels, and regularly update the requirements as needed.
  • Consider the effect of our interpersonal communications on our quality when developing plans, taking actions and determining cause.
  • Consider the quality of our life at work when reviewing and recommending quality procedures.
  • Consider the following tools and techniques to perform quality processes: quality audits, process analysis, cost-benefit analysis, benchmarking, design of experiments, cost of quality, brainstorming, affinity diagrams, matrix diagrams, flowcharts, priority matrices, cause and effect diagrams, control charts, histograms, Pareto charts, run charts, scatter diagrams, statistical sampling, inspection, defect repair review, process change review, and review of plans.
  • Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
  • Support new product development and continuous improvement and by integrating quality control tools (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) into processes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the quality control field, relying on current literature pertaining to material use, technological advances, and statistical studies.
  • Maintain our organization’s Performance Improvement Plan that defines what procedures will be carried out to make sure that our Quality Management Plan is effective and measuring the right quality requirements and levels for our Company, establishes a method for updating our Quality Management and Process Improvement Plans, and includes checklists and forms used in our quality assurance process.
  • Maintain our organization’s Quality Management Plan that defines our quality requirements, what measurement levels are established for each requirement, how and how often we will measure levels, what we plan to do about levels out of acceptable range, and includes checklists and forms used in our quality control process.
  • Manage personal time and productivity to efficiently and effectively perform according to your individual job description and report any concerns with meeting assigned deadlines or performing assigned duties to your direct manager
  • Meet with our Executive and Management Teams to review quality requirements and plans.
  • Monitor and influence factors that promote positive attitudes toward participating in our quality improvement and following Company quality policies and procedures.
  • Own and manage documents on our Document System relating to our quality assurance and control policies and procedures according to our Procedure for Updating Company Documents.
  • Perform or ensure performance of our planned quality control procedures in our Quality Management Plan to determine quality measurements for our Company and ensure our Company is managed in accordance with our Quality Management Plan.
  • Report to our Executive Team on results of quality control and quality assurance checks established in our Quality Management Plan and our Process Improvement Plan.
  • Conduct Time studies and suggest ideas for improvement for efficiency and productivity.
  • Evaluate ergonomics in the workplace, gather data to evaluate and improve workplace practices and overall, well-being.
