JOB SUMMARY
Our Radiotherapy Department is at the forefront of cancer treatment, providing accessible and high-quality care to our patients in Somerset.
We are now looking for a Quality Manager to help us drive the service forward and ensure the highest quality standards in our radiotherapy provision.
You’ll join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team based in the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital which is a purpose built and modern centre for patients undergoing cancer treatments. The role is part time (30 hours pw) and offers the opportunity for flexible and hybrid working.

Responsibilities:
As the Quality Manager in Radiotherapy Services, you’ll provide advanced support to all aspects of the work relating to Clinical Governance and the continuing success of the Quality Management System covering Clinical Oncology, Radiotherapy and Radiotherapy Physics.
You’ll become a key member of the senior management MDT, based in Radiotherapy Physics, providing strategic leadership for the quality, risk, patient safety and audit functions across all aspects of the radiotherapy service provision and will undertake most tasks independently, ensuring the continual improvement of service quality.
Although previous experience in Radiotherapy or Healthcare would be beneficial, we are most interested in hearing from people with good experience of Quality Management within any industry.
