Description:

This position oversees the Quality Management System for Rhenus Logistics Ltd. with the support of the Quality Manager Ireland, ensuring compliance to all regulatory standards across the business.
Also oversees the management of customer complaints and quality issues, ensuring we maintain the business award and deliver as promised for our customers and supports the application for and maintenance of regulatory standards/certifications as required.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems/Certifications.
  • Knowledge and experience of Audit Process/Regulatory Standards.
  • Proficiency in English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes and systems, an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience of management techniques, organizational, personnel, and quality policy.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s or bachelor’s in quality, business management, process management, information systems, statistics, industrial sciences, or related field.
  • Master’s or bachelor’s in engineering, process management, or related field.
  • Where educational requirements are not fulfilled prior extensive experience of successful performance in the role will be required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Managing and leading Audits in relevant Business Unit: Audits are completed as per the audit schedule, measuring regulatory compliance, identifying risk to the business, and highlighting any further actions or process improvements
  2. Investigating and solving Customer Complaints/Queries and Quality Issues: In the event of a customer complaint/query or quality issue, all information is recorded, communicated with relevant departments, and solutions are identified and shared with relevant parties to ensure high quality and standard of service.
  3. Managing and controlling Quality Processes and Documentation: All quality processes and documentation are compliant with regulatory standards, ensuring continuation of certification, strengthening our customer base.
  4. Creating and measuring Metrics/KPIS: Business Unit has metrics/KPIS/targets available to compare and measure performance on a current and historical basis, as well as providing key data for future planning.
