YOUR ROLE:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team at Scott Pallets.
As an experienced Quality Manager, the key objectives for this role will be to ensure compliant products are being manufactured to the required customer standards, and to effectively manage the quality system in line with Group policies and the accredited standards. The role will also involve the management and maintenance of appropriate industry certification and accreditation requirements.
In this role, you will lead the continual development of the Quality culture across the business, to achieve customer satisfaction and minimize business disruption. This will involve leading a continuous improvement culture targeting the identification, implementation and rectification of all correct preventative actions across the business.
The suitable candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of leading and championing Quality practices and procedures within a multi-site manufacturing operation. Ideally, you will either be working towards becoming a qualified membership or already be a member of a recognised Quality professional body. Due to the nature of this role, travel across the UK will be required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a practical person who is willing to be hands on to help promote and lead change within the company. As an individual, you will be an excellent communicator who will be able to liaise with customers and staff across the business.
