Downer Rail and Transit Systems (RTS) is proud to be a leading provider of Rollingstock assets and management in Australia . We are now seeking to appoint a Quality Manager to join our highly skilled team – this role will be based at the Auburn Maintenance Centre.

• You will lead and champion system and process improvement initiatives, in various service and industrial settings.
• Facilitates and leads team efforts to establish and monitor customer/ supplier quality related concerns, and helps develop measurement systems to determine organisational improvement, in accordance with the Company Quality Policy and The Downer Standard.
• Understands the TDS assurance framework, ISO standards and principles of auditing and the auditing techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting to undertake audits and determine a quality system’s adequacy and deficiencies.
• This role analyses all elements of a quality system and judges its degree of adherence to the criteria of project management plans and quality evaluation and control systems
