  • You will have a strong background in people management that allows you to drive engagement and success across the quality department.
  • Experience within a food, dairy or quality environment is preferable.
  • Proven knowledge of dairy legislative and regulatory requirements, knowledge, and experience in New Zealand dairy regulation is advantageous.
  • Sound writing skills and the ability to write for specific audiences, and confident presentation and/or training delivery skills
  • Ability to coach, inspire, and build up the capability of a team and their knowledge.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader to join us in Auckland. We are a dynamic and innovative team, dedicated to delivering excellence and are looking for a Quality Manager who shares our vision of fostering a motivated and high-performing team.
This is a pivotal role in our business forming part of our leadership team where you will be responsible for overseeing food safety and quality. You will bring your technical experience to support our managers to help drive our culture and the teams’ success.

Reporting to the Head of Quality Operations the responsibilities in this role will include …

  • Responsible for leading the Quality Team
  • Ensure our products being manufactured to allow us to deliver safe and quality products to our customers.
  • Provide planning and coordination of auditing requirements for the North Island manufacturing hub including supplier, regulatory (including RMP), customer, and internal audits.
  • Support and provide guidance to the manufacturing team on quality-related issues.
  • Maintain compliance in line with the risk management program and existing certifications
  • Support the culture of quality-driven investigations, problem solving, and continuous improvement processes.

As this is a multi-site role where you can be based at either of our sites, Pokeno or Mangere and we provide flexible working.
