Description:

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a Quality Officer to join the Quality Unit within the Medical Directorate of Health Education and Improvement Wales. The Quality Unit works to ensure the delivery of high quality medical education and training and provision of Faculty infrastructure to support it.

We are seeking a motivated individual with good communication and reporting skills who will have an important role in working at the interface of medical education and training and healthcare in Wales with a specific focus on quality management. The main focus of the role is to deliver key quality management processes which will require collaboration with NHS Wales.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is the strategic workforce body for NHS Wales with statutory functions that include education and training, workforce planning, workforce development and transformation, leadership and succession planning, and careers.
