POSITION OVERVIEW

Bcomp Ltd. is a young and dynamic Swiss company specialised in the development, marketing and sales of natural fibre composite solutions for high-performance applications. With a background in the sports industry, and after establishing ourselves in motorsports, we are now focusing on growing our presence in the mobility market. We develop sustainable lightweighting solutions based on natural fibres in close collaboration with our customers, in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial working environment.
To strengthen its Quality team and our position in the large-scale mobility market, Bcomp is looking for a Quality Project Engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL QUALITIES

• Quality engineer (or equivalent)
• Experience in industry certified IATF16949
• Experience in Quality in an operational quality context strongly connected to project management and launch of new products
• Experience in perceived quality from Tier 1 or Tier 2 side
• Customer relationship and APQP/PPAP tracking and follow up with customer
• Experience as auditor would be a strong asset
• Able to work autonomously and share relevant information with the team
• Structured way of working with an ability to handle many tasks in parallel
• Very strong ability to connected activities/ faced problematic, and lead of cross functional communication to reach target
• Ability to identify opportunities and to propose improvements
• Able to work under pressure with tiny deadline

Job Opening – Quality Project Enginee

• Be the quality project engineer as an active member and quality representative in internal projects connected to automotive project.
• Be the quality point of contact for any tasks related to the project, connected to the different teams inside the company, our supply chain and the final customer; including:
• strong connexion for the tracking and monitoring/support of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP activities through a combination of cross functional team meetings, document reviews and site audits/visits), milestone review lead
• conduct in-house and on-site Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) validation and reviews, integrating consolidation of PPAP from our suppliers and presentation to customer
• implement and track CSR and Bcomp’s internal requirements
• lead 8D connected to customer claims or feedback and reporting
• Ensure the continuity of our quality management with our partners into our supply chain: specifications, quality control, complaints management with root cause analysis via 8D, continuous improvement with our partners
• Manage the connected action plans with the other departments and managers related to projects
• Support the various team members to deliver the expected results on time
• Proactive mindset to support the continuous improvement and our efficiency
