JOB DESCRIPTION

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Quality Specialist II, where you will support our operation ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements. You will play a critical role in maintaining our extraordinary standards through quality assurance practices, audits, supplier management, complaint handling, and corrective actions. Your work will be part of the continuous improvement and excellence of our Operations Team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Validated experience in quality assurance or compliance.
  • Proven track record to conduct audits and leads supplier quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality management systems.
  • Ability to successfully implement process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to achieving outstanding results.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System regulations and standards.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Lead supplier quality, including evaluation and approval processes.
  • Handle customer complaints, nonconformance reports, and action plans.
  • Lead investigations into nonconformance products and process improvements.
  • Recommend and implement process changes to improve performance and compliance.
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager in promoting quality culture
  • Apply problem-solving methodologies to identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the organization through PPI (Practical Process Improvement).
