ABOUT US
North-West Tasmania is home to our Wynyard site which makes cheese and a range of powders for our customers. We take Tasmanian farmers’ milk and turn this into world-class dairy foods for both the domestic and export market.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team at our Wynyard site in a permanent, part-time capacity (25 hours per week), these hours will need to be stretched across all 5 days Mon-Fri approx. 5 hours per day. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in the dairy industry or for a junior quality coordinator or recent graduate ready to make an impact.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of quality data.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality task SOPs.
- Perform plant hygiene swabbing and sample collection.
- Register and prepare all samples to be sent for testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Operate laboratory equipment and perform calibrations as required.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
