TEAM & CULTURE
Our Quality Control team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced technician to join our field team. The successful candidate will have field and lab experience in Civil Construction and is comfortable testing soil & concrete. As a self-starter you are comfortable completing tasks on your own but are collaborative and willing to take direction in a team environment. You have exemplary verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable working with data and reporting it in a timely manner.
Due to the remote location of the site you are comfortable traveling through rough terrain and have a fitness level to meet the physical demands of the role including manual labour.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years experience with lab testing of soils (Sieves & Proctors)
- Able to work shifts in remote camp location
- Class 5 driver’s license and comfortable driving in rough terrain to transport equipment &/or samples
- Comfortable working at height
- Physically fit to meet the demands of the job
- As relocation is not offered for this position preference will be given to B.C. residents
- Competence using Microsoft Word and Excel
