Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of three years of experience in QA/QC activities within the food, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing fields.
  • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and food quality fundamentals.
  • Thorough understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans, traceability, allergen control, and equipment calibration.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and grow within the quality control field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in a food-related field.
  • Experience working with a variety of analytical equipment used in quality control.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct line checks before production, during production, and at changeovers.
  • Monitor production lines to verify codes, labels, weights, and packaging.
  • Maintain records of raw materials and finished goods, tracking them from receipt through production to shipping.
  • Manage protocols for products on hold, rework processes, and non-compliant ingredients, packaging, and products.
  • Collaborate closely with shipping and production teams on quality control matters.
  • Utilize analytical equipment to perform tasks and analyses including swabbing procedures, ATP & EMP, pH Meter, salt, fat, moisture analysis, titratable acidity, brix, refractometer, color spectrophotometer, allergen testing, seam seal integrity, and seal engagement.
