LOCATION: MELBOURNE (HYBRID)

In this position, you’ll be based in Melbourne, Yarra Falls office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. This role has in-office operational requirements and so we’re unable to consider employees who wish to continue an existing, fully remote working arrangement.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Degree in Information/ Computer Systems and/ or ISTQB foundation certificate is desirable
  • Technical experience in the following technologies will be advantageous:
  • Visual Studio Test Professional
  • Microsoft Office
  • SQL Server Management Studio
  • Experience with Automation frameworks and tools – Selenium\Specflow

Responsibilities:

A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Test Analyst in an exciting 18-month fixed-term contract position! Here, you’ll be part of a supportive and close-knit team, where collaboration and innovation thrive. You will report directly to the Quality Assurance Test Project Lead and play a crucial role in delivering a significant end-to-end project that makes an impact.

SOME OF YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Designing, developing, and documenting comprehensive testing plans, test cases and test data
  • Administering tests on existing software products to find limitations and faults
  • Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot faults
  • Adhering to and updating established quality assurance processes
  • Participating in the delivery process including test estimation
  • Writing and updating user documentation and operational procedures
  • Testing integrity of new products in a networked environment
  • Identify unnecessary components and risks
  • Analysing documents to determine testing requirements, testing scope and test data
  • Analysis of systems and processing requirements

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

You will possess the ability to quickly learn and take on new processes, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of testing techniques, approaches, and methods
  • Experienced and proficient in software testing techniques, authoring, review, and application of test cases
  • Experience with defect reporting and management
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies: Waterfall, Iterative and Agile
  • Strong written and verbal communication at all levels of stakeholders
