Job Title: Quality Validation Engineer, Patient Centered Solutions
Job Overview: As a Quality Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting quality assurance testing of medium to high complexity software applications. You will design, develop, implement, and update software systems to meet the organization’s needs. Your role will involve evaluating, scheduling, and resourcing development projects, investigating user needs, and documenting, testing, and maintaining computer programs.
You will coordinate testing activities for software releases across the IQVIA Cronos software applications, ensuring adherence to IQVIA SDLC policies and requirements for software development, testing, and release documentation. You will work closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, testers, and quality assurance teams to ensure Cronos software releases comply with IQVIA policies. Additionally, you will evaluate testing resource needs, schedules, and projects in coordination with team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of related experience in quality assurance and testing required.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
  • Coordinate all documentation related to IQVIA Cronos software releases to ensure each release has proper documentation.
  • Define master validation and test plans to document the overall testing strategy for a project.
  • Ensure teams thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects prior to implementation.
  • Document all problems and implement improvements to current procedures.
  • Develop models of possible future configurations and perform workflow analysis to recommend quality improvements.
  • Establish quantitative measurements and techniques for measuring software quality.
  • Establish advanced software test standards and methods, and monitor teams conducting complex software tests.
  • Participate in the review and evaluation of software quality assurance products and services for applicability to in-house needs.
  • Assist with the selection of software test engineers for assignment to projects.
  • Mentor and sometimes manage more junior level test engineers.
