Our Financial Services Risk Consulting team is responsible for both consulting and audit projects across different areas of Risk Management for Financial Services clients. We’re looking for a Quant & Analytics Consultant to join our Zürich office.

As a Consultant in our Quant & Analytics team, you’ll be fully immersed in challenging projects from day one. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of quantitative aspects of risk management, contributing to projects that align with your skills and interests. Your work will span domestic and international clients across all areas of financial risk.
Furthermore, you will be part of our well-established mentorship program. You will be assigned a mentor which will help you integrate in the team, learn about our industry, steer your career towards your goals, and support you in all the challenges that you might face.

Potential projects you’ll contribute to:

  • Advise our clients on how to best leverage quantitative models to better measure their various risks (market, credit, operational, and fraud-related), and help design, develop and implement cutting-edge solutions
  • Contribute to the stability of our financial system while building an understanding of the market landscape, by auditing the quantitative models of large financial institutions
  • Valuate complex financial products and contracts, staying on top of the latest trends in structured products and derivatives
  • Analyze risk management functions and assess adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Support engagements in emerging areas such as Sustainability, Climate Risk, and AI Risk

WHAT YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE – SKILLS FOR SHAPING THE FUTURE

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field (mathematics, physics, statistics, financial or computational engineering, econometrics)
  • Strong interest in financial risk management and applying advanced quantitative techniques to solve real-world problems
  • Solid analytical mind with the ability to combine method, rigor, and transversal skills
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C#, or VBA
  • Curiosity about innovation and new trends (e.g., AI and sustainability) in the banking and insurance sector
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (German is an advantage)
  • Open-minded with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly in a multinational team
