Job Description

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

AECOM’s Program, Cost Consultancy team has an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join our successful team based in Sydney.

WHAT WILL A DAY IN THIS ROLE LOOK LIKE:

  • Be responsible for providing quantity surveying and cost management services on some of Sydney and Australia’s largest and most iconic vertical and horizontal infrastructure projects across both infrastructure and building projects.
  • Assist with the development of cost planning and estimating (design phase), measurement of quantities based on design drawings, cash flow forecasting, construction phase cost management, capital cost advice and life-cycle costing.
  • Collaborate with AECOM’s quantity surveyors and multi-disciplinary engineers both locally and nationally on a wide range of projects depending on your experience.
  • Use your extensive experience to provide high-quality technical advice to clients and assist in the professional development of junior members within the team by providing them with mentoring.
