Responsibilities:

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

  • Hold a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or Similar and MRICS qualified.
  • Have experience working within a civil engineering environment, ideally within the utilities sector.
  • Have a detailed understanding of wider construction industry and regulations.
  • Experience working in a partnering and/or collaborative environment.
  • Proven people management and leadership experience
  • Have a strong financial knowledge and practical experience of civil engineering technologies.
  • Strong record of managing and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation skills across all modes: written, spoken, and visual. We expect confidence of expression and preparedness.
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and manage stakeholders accordingly.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and undertake base root cause analysis and benefit opportunity mapping.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and willing to travel when required
