Quantity Surveyor position

at  6 Meter Construction Limited

Auckland based residential construction company is planning to grow further in the property developer field. We are looking for a person who has professional skills and excellent connections to different construction departments to liaise, supervise and
coordinate with sub-consultants and contractors.

• Pre-contract: sourcing and maintaining subcontractors, quotation based on drawings, estimating, preparing SOP & SOQ and contracts
• Post-contract: project procurement, project cost tracking and variation handling; project specification (SOM) implementation
• Work closely with construction management team on site feasibility
• Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
• Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
• Project risk management and Prepare replacement cost assessment for insurance purpose
• Preparation of tender, tender analysis and reporting
• Maintaining merchant account
• Site travel when necessary
• Perform any other task(s) as assigned
  Term: Permanent full-time position
  Wage: $32 per hour
  Hours of work: 40 hours or above per week
  Shifted from Monday to Saturday
