Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Dubai, UAE Duration: 6-Month Project Salary: 6000 AED per month Visa Requirements: Must have a freelance or sponsored visa Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction company in Dubai for a 6-month project. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in both pre-tender and post-tender processes and have a solid track record in the construction or contracting industry within the UAE. Key Responsibilities: 1. Pre-Tender Process: Prepare cost estimates and budgets. Evaluate and analyze tender documents. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments. Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and services. 2. Post-Tender Process: Manage contracts, claims, and variations. Monitor project costs and prepare regular financial reports. Liaise with project managers to ensure budget compliance. Conduct site visits to assess progress and valuations. 3. General Duties: Prepare and review bills of quantities and contract documentation. Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with legal and contractual standards. Provide advice on cost-saving measures. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of UAE experience in a construction or contracting company. In-depth knowledge of pre and post-tender processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to start immediately. Working Conditions: Location: On-site in Dubai. Project Duration: 6 months. Working Hours: As per project requirements.
