  R&D Developer| Pyrmont
  As a Product Developer specialising in socks, you will work closely with Design and the Senior R&D Raw Material Developer in developing new sock and supporting the seasonal development stream. This role will include project work to support the Senior R&D Raw Material Developer as required.
  What is the role?
  Working with the design team and regional colorist teams , suppliers on seasonal color and print development
  Conduct research of new materials including yarns, knitting methods, new fabric treatments and dyeing/ printing techniques
  Develop , source materials for the brands, ensuring these are Fit for Purpose, meet our HAA Quality Requirements and Sustainability Goals.
  Support the execution of the technical department objectives and initiatives
  Problem solving issues through the product development process
  Ensuring our Product Line Management (PLM) database is consistently updated and accurate
  Collaborate and support satellite offices to identify strategic initiatives and process improvement opportunities
  What experience we are looking for?
  3 + years of related experience in the apparel/fashion textile industry, with experience in developing and sourcing fabrics and trims.
  Understanding of product design and development process, from inception through to production
  Strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to provide insights and make practical recommendations
  Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build strong business relationships
  Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  You are a team player with an incredible work ethic
  Strong attention to detail and data integrity
  Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of database systems (e.g. PLM) is advantageous
  You will hold Textile Technology qualifications
