R&D Engineer - Data Science

What will you be doing?

  • Researching the latest generation of AI models to understand their capabilities and potential applications.
  • Obtaining and cleaning training data sets to prepare them for use in training AI models.
  • Developing feature encodings to extract meaningful information from the data.
  • Coding and implementing machine learning methods to build and train AI models.
  • Analyzing and validating models with statistical techniques to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Developing interfaces for exploring and utilizing AI to make it easy for others to use the models I develop.
  • Work in a collaborative, fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s, degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience using machine learning tools in an academic and/or job setting.Strong coding skills in Python, R, MATLAB, or similar data science coding languages.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Strong understanding of data analytic techniques and the ability to implement these approaches.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate my findings and recommendations effectively.
