We believe that inclusion is key to understanding people’s varied healthcare needs. Together, we embrace individuality and share a passion for exceptional care. Join Roche, where every voice matters.
The Position
As Roche continues to be an industry leader in R&D investments, it is essential that we allocate resources to the right areas and with the highest impact. Finance plays a pivotal role as an enabling function, navigating a diverse and complex value chain efficiently and effectively in support of the success for the Roche Group as a leading science company. Moreover, as our innovation pipeline grows in its disease therapeutic diversity and technology platforms, Finance must play a critical role in ensuring investments in areas that will drive step change become multiplicative rather than additive.
In line with the vision laid out in the Finance White Paper, the R&D Finance Network supports our Core R&D Units (PD, gRED, pRED & CiCoR) and is focused on Finance Enterprise Partnering, fostering strong, trustful relationships based on a shared commitment to a greater impact for patients and the company as whole. Our R&D Finance operating model enables Finance Enterprise Partners to work as a network in one team.
The position offers an opportunity to acquire a comprehensive understanding of business and finance processes within a large pharmaceutical organization. You will work with multiple systems and data sources, gaining valuable insights into Roche’s R&D portfolio and commercial product landscape. This role will help you strengthen your analytical and reporting skills while discovering the planning process for large-scale R&D projects and functions. Additionally, you’ll gain hands-on work experience in a truly global and multinational team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial master data through validation and accurate recognition.
- Partner closely with R&D Finance Enterprise Partners (FEPs) and the Enterprise Center of Excellence (eCoE) to support Analytics & Insights needs and deliverables.
- Explore and implement innovative solutions for troubleshooting, ad-hoc, and recurring requests from Business and Finance.
- Contribute to strategic priorities, including Capacity Exercise, Study Excellence, RDE, and ASPIRE, by providing data, analytics, and insights.
- Assist with cleanup activities and support the delivery of ongoing financial outcomes.
- Enhance the collaboration model between R&D Finance, eCoE, and other finance units.
- Promote innovation and foster a digital culture across the R&D Finance network.
