R&D Junior Solution Architect, Entry

Responsibilities:

• Work jointly with the Product Planner to architect the solution (create Bill of Materials and Visio solution drawings) and ensure recommended solution leverages Keysight enterprise and fits into the overall client requirements.
• Designs and develops Keysight products, components, processes, and systems using broad engineering concepts and research techniques.
• Uses product and customer applications knowledge to determine, define, develop and validate design concepts and methods.
• Documents research and design specifications.
• Teaming with sales representor, global solution development team, and other disciplines to develop and win complex opportunities
• Respond timely to technical pre-sales inquiries, requests for information (FRI), requests for proposals (RFP), and requests for quotation (RFQ)
• Solves complex and high impact design and development problems including customer application issue of varying scope and complexity.
• Drive effective product and solution demos for customers as needed. Conduct and successfully complete Proof of Concept (POC) efforts while engaging customers, channel and tech partners, while managing demo gear to and from the customer
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a technical aptitude to deliver powerful, succinct, convincing, and customer-focused presentations (Microsoft Teams and in person)
• Assist remotely and on-site with installing and supporting customer proof of value of the proposed solution
• Deliver training for ecosystem technology partner and channel partner engineers and architects to allow them to help identify potential opportunities.
• May facilitate transition of product design and enhancements to full production/delivery.
• Performing assembly and integration of hardware components alongside software testing.
• Continuously learning new products, applications and technologies in areas of areas of automotive Electrical Vehicle technologies.
• Leading Keysight customer engagement in the EV battery, EV charging, and EV power electronics from technical perspective

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent. Typically 2-4 years relevant experience for entry to this level.
• Requires general proficiency with tools, systems and procedures to accomplish job.
• Knowledge in C# is an added bonus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
