To strengthen our site in Krefeld, we are looking for a: R&D Lab Technician - Polymerization (m/f/d)
The Job:
- Responsible for the planning and preparation of inverse emulsion polymers.
- Responsible for the development of recipes and the polymerization processes.
- You are responsible for execution, evaluation (e.g. storage stability) of lab samples and documentation of your lab work.
- In addition, you will work on developing new test methods and/or establishing methods for storage stability & performance evaluation of inverse emulsion products.
- If necessary, you collaborate with other company divisions and locations of our company (e.g., production, EH&S, process technology) as needed.
Skills & abilities:
- Education as Laboratory Technician
- Good knowledge in polymer synthesis processes.
- Knowledge about emulsion/precipitation polymerization is a plus.
- 3 ~ 5 years’ experience in laboratory work and experience in carrying out radical copolymerization reactions.
- Experience in supervision of trainees.
- Strong verbal and written skills in English.
- Skilled in MS Office and Lotus Notes programs.
- Flexibility and willingness to work internationally and cross-culturally.
