We are seeking a highly qualified R&D Manager in our Plymouth, MN or Brooklyn Park, MN location to manage part of our ion trap fabrication team. This team works with the Honeywell foundries and outside suppliers to oversee fabrication of our next generation of ion traps and related components, and to develop new and improved methods for producing higher performing and higher quality traps. The manager in this role will lead and mentor a group of physicists, engineers and technicians. This position is primarily technical leadership and people-management but includes some individual technical contribution. A successful candidate will have a broad and deep understanding of wafer fabrication in both IC and MEMS environments, as well as proven technical planning and leadership skills.
