As an R&D Scientist specializing in microphone arrays and acoustic imaging, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing advanced signal processing algorithms to enhance the performance of our cutting-edge technology. You will drive key advancements in beamforming, quantitative ultrasound imaging, and sensor calibration, making gas leak detection more accurate, faster, and easier. Your contributions will play a crucial role in evolving our technology to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Algorithm Development: Design and develop state-of-the-art algorithms for array signal processing, beamforming, and quantitative acoustic imaging. Your work will optimize performance within the hardware’s computational constraints.
- Calibration and Experimentation: Refine and improve calibration models and methodologies for microphone arrays and optics, ensuring the best performance for our ultrasound cameras. Design and conduct experiments to validate these algorithms using real-world data.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and application engineers to integrate new features into production and improve overall system performance.
- Documentation and IP Contribution: Thoroughly document your research findings and contribute to patent applications, ensuring your work enhances our intellectual property portfolio.
- Technology Watch: Keep up with the latest innovations and advances in signal processing, beamforming, and acoustic imaging, by reviewing literature and staying informed about industry trends to inspire future research
